Marina Yacht Club Restaurant is located in the heart of Bodrum, a popular seaside resort on Turkey’s southwest coast. Specifically, the restaurant is located within the Bodrum Marina complex, located on the eastern side of Bodrum Bay.

The menu of the Marina Yacht Club Restaurant offers a variety of Mediterranean and Aegean cuisine, with an emphasis on fresh seafood and locally sourced ingredients. Some of the most popular dishes are grilled octopus, seafood pasta, fish and chips, and various appetizer plates.
Please note that certain recipes used by Marina Yacht Club Restaurant may differ from these.
Grilled Octopus: Ingredients:
- 1 large octopus
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat a grill to medium-high heat.
- Rinse the octopus and remove the beak from the center.
- Place the octopus in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 45 minutes to an hour, until the octopus is tender.
- Remove the octopus from the pot and cut into pieces.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the octopus pieces with the olive oil mixture and place on the grill.
- Grill for 2-3 minutes on each side, until lightly charred and heated through.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges.
Seafood Pasta: Ingredients:
- 1 pound pasta
- 1 pound mixed seafood (shrimp, mussels, clams, etc.)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Add the mixed seafood and cook for 2-3 minutes, until just cooked through.
- Remove the seafood from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the white wine to the skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes, until the wine has reduced by half.
- Add the tomato sauce and simmer for another 5-10 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Add the cooked pasta and seafood to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Fish and Chips: Ingredients:
- 1 pound white fish fillets (such as cod or haddock)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup beer
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- French fries, for serving
- Tartar sauce, for serving
Instructions:
- Cut the fish fillets into large pieces.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the beer and whisk until smooth.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375 degrees F.
- Dip the fish pieces in the batter and then carefully add them to the hot oil.
- Fry for 4-5 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the fish from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Serve hot with french fries and tartar sauce.

Located at the entrance to the Bodrum Marina, Marina Yacht Club remains a popular venue for and takes pleasure in hosting local & foreign guests as well as frequenters to Bodrum for over 10 years.
Within the spacious area of 1,800 m² that the Marina Yacht Club was constructed over and covers today are three restaurants, offering unique and varied menus as well as three bars, each with their own unique ambience.
Daily service begins with breakfast, followed by lunch service before continuing with an aperitif or maybe a cocktail – the ideal companion to the wonderful atmosphere at sunset. Evening service continues with a choice from our extensive wine menu, the perfect accompaniment to the equally eclectic choice of local and international dishes available.
During the summer live concert season, Marina Yacht Club hosts between 1,000 – 1,500 guests daily. During the winter, 2 restaurants and 1 bar continue indoor service.
With guests totalling between 275,000 – 300,000 annually, Marina Yacht Club also hosts the B.A.Y.K. (Bodrum Open Sea Sailing Club) sailing race cocktail parties and gala dinners for many significant firms.
In terms of what to eat, it really depends on your personal preferences and dietary restrictions. However, as I mentioned before, the restaurant’s seafood dishes are especially appreciated and definitely worth a try.
When it comes to entertainment and nightlife, Marina Yacht Club Restaurant is located in a lively area of Bodrum known for its lively atmosphere and lively nightlife. The restaurant itself usually offers live entertainment or music, usually on the weekends, but there are many other bars, clubs and venues in the surrounding area that offer a variety of nightlife options.

Marina Yacht Club presents guests with an outstanding choice of cuisine from all over the globe at 3 alternative restaurants.
Each of our dishes bares the signature of Hasan Hüseyin Erdem who has come to the Marina Yacht Club after years of exceptional service in some of Istanbul’s best known 5 star hotels. He has also represented Turkey as part of the ‘National Team of Chefs’, bringing back numerous awards.
The Roof:
- Location: On the top floor of the Marina Yacht Club building, overlooking the Bodrum Bay and marina.
- Atmosphere: Relaxed and casual, with a laid-back vibe and comfortable seating.
- Features: The Roof is primarily a bar, but it also offers a small selection of light bites and snacks. It’s a great place to enjoy a drink and take in the beautiful views of the bay and marina. The Roof is also available for private events and parties.
Open during the Summer season, this fine-dining venue offers a harmonic combination of selected dishes from the Mediterranean kitchen and Turkish ‘Meze’. The incredible view adds an extra dimension to this unique dining experience. Don’t leave without trying our ‘Wild Rice with Seafood’ which was selected in the top 10 dishes of Gusto Magazine in 2010.
The Jazz Bar:
- Location: Inside the Marina Yacht Club building, on the ground floor.
- Atmosphere: Intimate and cozy, with low lighting and a stylish decor.
- Features: The Jazz Bar is a popular spot for live music and entertainment, with local and international jazz musicians performing regularly. The bar offers a range of cocktails, wines, and spirits, as well as a selection of appetizers and small plates. The Jazz Bar has a sophisticated and upscale atmosphere, and it’s a great spot for a date or a night out with friends.
The Club:
- Location: On the ground floor of the Marina Yacht Club building, adjacent to the Jazz Bar.
- Atmosphere: High-energy and lively, with a vibrant dance floor and a DJ spinning the latest hits.
- Features: The Club is Bodrum’s premier nightlife destination, attracting a young and trendy crowd looking to dance the night away. The club features a state-of-the-art sound system and lighting setup, and it hosts both local and international DJs. The Club offers a range of cocktails and other drinks, and it’s known for its high-energy atmosphere and late-night parties.
Is open all year with live music every night during the winter months.

Caffe del Corso:
- Location: On the ground floor of the Marina Yacht Club building, next to the entrance.
- Atmosphere: Relaxed and casual, with indoor and outdoor seating available.
- Features: Caffe del Corso is a cafe and bakery that offers a range of coffee drinks, teas, pastries, and light bites. The cafe has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and it’s a great spot for a quick breakfast or a leisurely afternoon snack. Caffe del Corso also offers free Wi-Fi, making it a popular spot for remote workers and digital nomads.
Şenkar Öztüzün
Born in 1965, Şenkar Öztüzün is married with one child and graduated from the political sciences faculty at the Marmara University.
After starting his business career in Istanbul in the textile industry, first as a director and later as a company owner, he moved to Bodrum in 1994. His management of venues began with the Avlu Bar in Bodrum’s Bar Street.
Today, he continues his working life as the proprietor and executive manager of the Marina Yacht Club, the Liman Köftecisi restaurant in Bodrum and the amazing Newold Night Club which is situated in a 300 year old inn.
As well as this, Şenkar Öztüzün has coached the Turkish National Sailing team following his own experience as a sailor for the national team and a Turkish Champion. He trained the first Optimist sportsmen in Bodrum, many of whom have become Turkish champions and represented their country as well. He is recognised as one of the most successful Turkish sportsmen in his field.
He was one of the founders of and a member of the Board of Directors of the Bodrum Open Sea Yacht Club, during which time he contributed towards the establishment of the Bodrum Yacht Race.
